The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program is comprised of five students from each of the five public high schools in Carroll County, The program was established in 2000 and approximately 215 individuals have graduated from the program.

The program has four day long sessions covering topics like: demographic information, team building, personal finance, local government, tours of different venues throughout the county, economic development and much much more. "These individuals in the program are excellent ambassadors for their schools and Carroll County" said Jackie McGee, Chairman of the Youth Leadership Carroll County Committee.

The Youth Leadership Carroll County committee is comprised of Renee Ford, Terry Howell, Jackie McGee, Kimberly Martin, Seth Martin, Nick Priddy, Lynn Smith and Chamber President, Brad Hurley.

395 individuals have graduated from both of the Chamber's Leadership Programs. (adult & youth).

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1981 to advance the commercial, industrial, civic and general interests of the County of Carroll and its trade area.

 

Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Carroll County (LCC) Class of 2008 - 2009, along with the
LCC committee, celebrated their graduation from the program on April 7, 2009, with a dinner and program
in the Bryson Room at Bethel College in McKenzie.  Ten individuals completed the LCC course, the purpose of
which is to provide participants with information about the life and work of Carroll County and to identify the
issues and opportunities that face our county.
