As you know, traffic counts are extremely important for
retail growth. The following charts and maps
show the daily traffic counts for Carroll County in 2000 &
2003 at Huntingdon & McKenzie.
• The highest traffic count in our county
is 10,250 this is located approximately in front of the Chamber Office.
This compares to
23,140 in Milan, 22,150 in Paris, 25,750 in Lexington and 15,130 in
Camden.
• The greatest change in the traffic
count comparing 2003 to 2000 occurred at the county line just east of Bruceton:
7,770 (2000) to
5,180 (2003) a 34% decrease.
