The Chamber of Carroll County sponsors and promotes several Small Business Programs throughout the year in it's effort to enhance the exposure and growth of the smaller businesses. Some of the more popular programs include:

In 1999 we had 1262 people go through the EXPO and we had 46 exhibitors. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to let people know about their products and services.
 

In August of 1999 we prepared a discount bag for every student attending Bethel College. More than 20 Chamber members took advantage of this program to promote their products and services to the young shoppers at the college.
 

The Chamber established the Gift Certificate Program to help provide an incentive to shop locally. Along with the 'Shop Carroll County First Campaign' this proved to make a difference in the amount of people that kept their shopping within the county. The program is a big part in our economy as the certificates are only redeemable at Carroll County businesses.
