As you may know, one of the
many programs the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce uses to benefit
its members is the
Chamber Gift Certificate Program.
The gift
certificates are a user-friendly instrument used to keep money in
our county. The certificates can be redeemed at any Chamber-member
business in Carroll County. The gift certificates resemble a
personal check and are made payable to the gift recipient. There are
no limitations on products purchased with the gift certificate;
recipients may purchase clothes, gifts, gas, or groceries — whatever
they may choose.
Certificates can be issued for any alloted
amount; the monetary value will vary according to the desire of the
buyer. The cost of the gift certificate is equal to the valued
amount of the certificate; the certificates are available for
purchase at the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber does not finacially
profit from this project, the only benefit to the Chamber is keeping
shoppers in Carroll County and thus helping build a better economy
for the whole county.
Not only are gift certificates great
personal gifts for birthdays, weddings, and graduations, they are
also ideal rewards for employees. Gift certificates allow employees
to choose their reward; the certificate are personalized to every
individual. This year several gift certificates have already been
purchased for Christmas gifts. We want to keep businesses updated,
as well as the consumer using the certificates, on how to use them.
Chamber gift certificates are beneficial to both local businesses
and local consumers. The Chamber gift certificates should be treated
just as a business would treat a check. There is no hassle for local
