Brief history;
The church was established in 1862 and is the oldest church in Trezevant.
It is known that the brick used in the building were fired by Mr. Milton Hart in
his home-made kiln. The walls stood for two years before funds could be
raised to build the roof. The church still stands in the original
structure but was re-bricked in 1980. In 1951 four Sunday School rooms
were added to the rear of the building and in 1953 a vestibule was added to the
front. In 1981 a fellowship hall was added and named the 'Raymon Burroughs
Fellowship Hall'. In 1982 the beautiful stained glass memorial windows
were installed in the sanctuary.
