JUST A FEW OF OUR CHAMBER ACTIVITIES

• Approximately 10,000 people a year request information from the Chamber through emails, phone calls, letters and visitors. The Chamber mailed Relocation Packages to individuals in 19 different states in 2006.

• The Chamber produced 4 annual publications; Carroll County Profile, Dining & Lodging Guide, Welcome to Carroll County Guide and the Manufacturers Directory.

• The Chamber is the only producer of a road and street map that includes all 8 municipalities in Carroll County.

• Sent information to Economic Development professionals and companies in 20 different states and 3 countries regarding Carroll County.

• Maintains an active web site with weekly updates.

• Promoted Carroll County in 6 issues of various Economic Development publications in 2006

• Placed three display boards in the Nashville International Airport promoting Carroll County to more than 700,000 people a month that travel through the airport.

• Just a few of the events the Chamber sponsored: 3 Legislative Briefings, a presentation of the Sales Tax Holiday, a presentation of the Family Medical Leave Act, Chamber Banquet, Chamber Prayer Breakfast, Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings, Chamber Golf Tournament, Chamber Business EXPO and other events.

• Encouraged people to shop in Carroll County through "Shop Locally" campaigns, Chamber Business Referral Program, and Chamber Gift Certificates, etc.
