1	The Chamber plays a significant role by building partnerships among all the key agencies that are responsible for the growth and economic well-being of our community. Our mission is to shape an economic climate that supports business expansion and creation while enhancing our quality of life. Your Chamber membership supports our efforts, and in turn you have a thriving market for your product and services while you and your employees enjoy the rewards of our quality lifestyle.
2	Members who benefit most from their Chamber membership are those who find the time to get involved in Chamber activities. Your membership provides a wide range of networking opportunities for you to develop leads, make contacts and gain tremendous exposure for your business. These activities include numerous programs and events such as the Chamber Membership Banquet, the Chamber's Silent Auction, Business EXPO, Leadership Carroll County, Golf Tournament, Food Booth at the County Fair and many others. Volunteering for any one of our committees allows you to meet new people and gives you an opportunity to make a difference in shaping the direction the community is headed. Another "myth" is that as a Chamber member, only the business owner can participate.... not true! Your membership is for your entire organization; any one of your employees can represent your business at Chamber activities. And furthermore you do not have to be a businessperson to be a member, the Chamber has many individuals that are active members.
3	The Chamber supports those that support us through a referral system. We also do business only with Chamber members, hold events at Chamber businesses and give free listings here on the Chamber Web Site (click here to find out more). Chamber members only are allowed to participate in the Chamber Gift Certificate Program. Every Gift Certificate that goes out is accompanied by a list of all Chamber members that are participating in the program and where you can use your certificate. This keeps several thousand dollars worth of benefits in our county and helps keep jobs and businesses growing.
